RACHEL CHAN

Barrister
Rachel Chan is a highly experienced family law barrister, specialising in complex children cases across London and the South East. Her practice includes matters involving domestic and sexual abuse, non-accidental injury, FII, and neglect, often with international or cultural dimensions. 
 
She has a background in both family and criminal law, Rachel also has significant experience working with vulnerable clients and is trained in Vulnerable Witness Advocacy. 
 
Rachel has been an advocacy trainer for Lincoln’s Inn and delivers legal training through webinars and professional courses. She is committed to public service and volunteers with the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health. She also undertakes pro bono work through Advocate, and is active in governance and diversity initiatives within the profession. She has contributed to leading legal publications, including Atkins Court Forms and Butterworths Family Service.
